Privacy policy
Netwerk collects nothing.
This is the whole policy, and it is short because there is little to report. Netwerk is an app without a server: there is no account, no backend, and not a single piece of data goes to the developer or to any third party.
What the app uses
Contacts
Netwerk reads your address book to show the names you add meaning to. That data is read on your device and sent nowhere. If you create a new contact inside the app, it is written to Apple Contacts — beyond that, Netwerk changes nothing about your contacts.
Calendar
Only when you tap “Find an event in your calendar” does Netwerk look at events from the week before and the week after, so you can turn one into a logged moment. Nothing is written to or changed in your calendar, and nothing from it is stored except the text you choose to keep.
Reminders
Only when you set a reminder yourself does Netwerk create one in Apple’s Reminders app.
What you write down
Your notes, topics, moments and connections live in a database on your device. If iCloud is switched on, that database syncs through your private iCloud storage to your other devices. That storage is yours; I have no access to it and cannot look inside.
Artificial intelligence
The summaries, topic suggestions and recognised names come from the language model Apple builds into the device itself (Apple Intelligence). No text goes to a cloud service — not to OpenAI, not to Google, not to me.
Getting in touch
There is no contact form on this site. The button on the support page takes you to the form on damonia.com — also a site of mine, where messages about all my apps come in.
What you write there (your name, your email address and your message) is forwarded to my own mailbox. For the delivery itself I use Resend; that service processes your message in order to get it to me. Nothing goes into a database, there is no mailing list and no profile is built. Your message stays in my mailbox for as long as that is useful and is not used for anything else.
This site uses no trackers, no analytics and no advertising.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry.

- No account, no login, no email address required.
Deleting your data
Delete the app and the local database is gone. To remove the synced copy as well, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage, where you can erase Netwerk’s data. Your contacts in Apple Contacts stay put; they were always yours.
Children
The app is not aimed at children and collects data from nobody, children included.
Changes
If anything about this policy changes, it will appear on this page, with a date.
